Letters from Caitlin

Caitlin usually leaves me little notes on my board at work when I'm gone.
I actually saw her this time.

Dinner at Liberatore's

Ok-this may not translate that well because it was a dark-dark room, but this was the soft crab platter I had tonight. It was two soft shell crabs in an awesome sauce with mashed potatoes.
Yum!

The Cane

This is the cane I bought myself when I fell on my back a few months ago. I never had the stones to walk around in public with it. I guess I just didn't hurt badly enough. Some times if I've had enough beer's I'll do a nice "House" impression.

If you really have to ask...

So I was at the incredibly happening Westminster mall waiting for the girl I wanted to cut my hair finish with a never ending color for some girl, and to kill some time I went into the "Border's Outlet" or whatever it's called.

If you NEED a manual on how to blog...TRUST ME, none of us need to read it.

I really miss my Dad sometimes...

I downloaded a cd last night and one of the songs on it really made me remember just how much I miss my Dad. He passed just past 11 years ago the last week, and when I heard it, it brought back a lot.

I was actually not to far from where he is buried and briefly thought of taking a picture of the headstone, but decided that was morbid.
I decided a nice pic of a really nice day would suffice.
Anyway:Here's the song that got me going:

I saw you sitting by the window
Of a cafe i passed by
And though clearly my reflection
It was your face i recognised

And after all these years i'm still right here
Where you left me

And i've been calling out
Believing you would answer
But i'll try to let go now
Cause it's you running through
My veins

You'd come by when i was dreaming
But lately you've been gone
Maybe i've been trying too hard
And maybe you have just moved on

I guess there's not a lot that you forgot
To tell me

And i've missed you hanging round
And the way we were together
But i can't let go now
Cause it's you running through
My veins

Oh
It's you running through my veins
Oh
And it's you running through my veins
Oh
It's you running through my veins
